Accounts Manager - Henley, Oxfordshire - £55,000 - £60,000

Our client is a well-established and forward-thinking accountancy practice based in Henley, Oxfordshire, providing tailored services to a diverse range of clients, from SMEs to high-net-worth individuals and multinational corporations. What will you be doing?
  • Managing a portfolio of clients and reviewing year-end statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders
  • Reviewing corporation tax computations and VAT returns
  • Overseeing the preparation of management accounts and ensuring high standards
  • Assisting with onboarding and managing new client relationships
  • Advising clients on technical queries and providing tailored solutions
  • Mentoring and training junior staff while managing workflow
  • Delivering excellent client service and supporting Partners with ad-hoc tasks
What do you need?
  • ACA/ACCA qualified, with 2-3 years post-qualification experience
  • Minimum 3-4 years' experience in practice
  • Strong working knowledge of UK GAAP and FRS 102
  • Experience with CCH, Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, and Alphatax (preferred but not essential)
  • Ability to build strong client relationships and understand their needs
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and multi-tasking skills
  • A proactive approach with strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • A team player with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently to tight deadlines
