Ackerman Pierce is seeking experienced SEN/HLTA tutors or teachers for a 1:1 tutoring position in Henley-on-Thames, focusing on core subjects.
The role requires two hours of tutoring per day, two days a week, with flexibility on the days, and the pay rate ranges from £25 to £35 per hour.
Candidates must have a minimum of two years of experience teaching within a UK school and should be familiar with the National Curriculum and differentiated teaching strategies.
Experience working with students with complex needs such as SEMH, ASC, MLD, and SpLD is essential, along with exceptional behavior management skills.
The position is temporary and term-time only, with the start date as soon as possible and ongoing thereafter.

children we are looking to support have a range of additional complex needs and so we are seeking experienced SEN /HLTA's/tutors/teachers.

We are currently recruiting for a Tutor to provide provision to a Student based in Henley-on-thames. Support in core subjects is required.

Location - Henley-on-thames
Position - 1:1 Tutor
Start date - ASAP
End date - Ongoing.
Contract type - Temporary
Hours - 2 hours per day - 2 days per week (flexible on days)
Rate of pay - £25/£35 per hour
Term Time Only
During School Hours Only

We are looking for candidates who are:-

Available during school hours up to 30 hours per week.
Experienced in delivering differentiated National Curriculum core subjects.
Experience teaching young people with a wide range of complex and challenging needs including SEMH/ASC/MLD/SpLD
Exceptional behaviour management strategies.
Prepared to work face to face within the community.

Requirements

Background teaching in English, Maths, Science or SEN classes ranging from KS1-KS5.
QTS status (or equivalant) or unqualified with two years' experience teaching NC core subjects
Experience working with SEMH/ASD/EBD/SEMH and associated complex needs.
2 years previous experience working within a UK school.
