Are you as stores person or an individual with a good understanding of water industry or plumbing, who is looking for a days-based role within a company that is renowned for taking care of their staff? On offer is the opportunity for you to step into a vital role within the stores department and display your ability to take control of the company's stock, PPE and deliveries, whilst displaying your ability to be organised. This company have over a century's worth of experience in the water industry and have been going from strength to strength, they are now looking to add to their team to support incoming business. As the sole person in the stores department, you will be monitoring the current parts inventory as well as ordering parts when needed to keep the inventory at an optimal level, collecting parts from suppliers, delivering parts, overseeing orders, keeping track of invoices, logging deliveries as well as collaborating with service managers and being in contact with buyers and sellers.This role would suit individuals with experience working in an engineering stores department or warehouse, some technical knowledge of the water industry would also be advantageous. Organisational skills, good time keeping and previous experience using a CRM system would also be advantageous, whilst you will be the sole person in these specific stores department you will be able to receive training on the CRM from a more experienced stores person within the company.
