We are recruiting for an enthusiastic Gym Manager to oversee a state-of-the-art gym within one of Henley-on-Thames' leading leisure and lifestyle destinations.This prestigious venue, set within 120 acres of stunning parkland, offers world-class fitness, golf, accommodation, and event facilities. With a strong reputation for excellence, this is an exciting opportunity for a Gym Manager to play a key role in driving membership growth and delivering an exceptional customer experience.Key Responsibilities:
  • Membership Growth: Promote, sell, and manage gym and leisure memberships, ensuring high levels of member satisfaction and retention.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of personal trainers, ensuring the highest standards in fitness instruction and personal training services.
  • Customer Experience: Deliver outstanding gym inductions, personal training sessions, and fitness classes tailored to individual member needs.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee the daily operation of the gym, ensuring equipment is well-maintained, clean, and safe for all users.
  • Health & Safety: Ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations, managing risk assessments and gym standards.
About You:
  • Proven experience in gym management or senior fitness roles.
  • Strong leadership skills with a passion for developing and motivating a team.
  • REPS Level 3 or 4 certification (or equivalent) and First Aid certified.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • A proactive, solution-driven approach with a focus on member experience.
