The below job description will outline this position of: Mechanical / Electrical Technician

My client is a well-known business within the power & propulsion sector. They are actively looking for a Mechanical / Electrical Technician to join an exciting and utilised team. Working as the Mechanical / Electrical Technician, you will need to be able to attend clients sites to either inspect, fault find, repair, overhaul, maintain or service a range of drive train products.

HSB Technical's client is a well-established and highly regarded entity within the maritime industry.

Key Responsibilities:

•    You will first and foremost be the company representative when working on site, therefore a professional approach is essential for this position
•    When in the field at customers sites you will either inspect, fault find, repair, overhaul, maintain or service a range of drive train products
•    Ability to create and supply to the service team clear reports outlining your findings or work complete
•    This role will see you based from home with UK and international travel which could see you working away from home for up to 3 weeks at a time
•    Experienced in electrically controlled, hydraulically operated Mechanical items is a highly desirable point 

Education / Other Points:

•    A recognised qualification or industry experience in mechanical or electrical engineering
•    UK Driving Licence 
•    Passport Holder
