A forward thinking, modern accountancy firm is looking to recruit an Accounts Manager / Senior accountant to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone that is potentially looking to progress their career.

Responsibilities and skills include:

• Building and maintaining strong, long lasting client relationships
• Good client interaction skills for meetings and able to demonstrate exceptional service standards.
• Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department
• Preparing accounting data and produce financial reports or statements and
• Reviewing accounts team work
• Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed

The ideal candidate will be;

• A qualified accountant - ACCA, ACA
• Have experience working within a similar role at an accounting firm
• Successful at developing and maintaining relationships with client base
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Tech Savvy and able to think outside the box
• Confident and motivated self starter with the ability to manage your time and efficiently meet deadlines
• Must be based local / easily commutable to the Hereford area and not require sponsorship

Ideally full time - 35 hours. Can be flexible after probationary period.

Salary: Starting at £45k or more depending on experience.
