Field Service Engineer - Medical Sterilisation Equipment

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer to join our team, providing expert installation, service, repair and maintenance on state-of-the-art medical sterilisation equipment. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone based in the GL and HR postcodes to work with a leading company at the forefront of medical technology design and manufacturing.

It is essential you live in the GL or HR postcode areas to be considered for this role, applicants outside will not be considered unfortunately. Your territory will cover GL, HR, NP and part of SY.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine and reactive maintenance on a diverse range of sterilisation equipment including autoclaves, RO units, ultrasonic cleaners, washer disinfectors etc.
  • Perform equipment installations, calibrations, and repairs at client sites.
  • Provide technical support and training to customers to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards within the medical field.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any operational issues efficiently and professionally.
  • Keep accurate records of service activities and report any findings to the relevant teams.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Service Engineer, with an electro-mechanical engineering fault finding and repair background
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
  • Full UK driving license (as this is a field-based role).
  • DBS clearable
  • Willingness to undergo additional training where necessary.
