Our Client

Autograph Recruitment is delighted to be working with a leading provider of high-quality engineering equipment. As they continue to grow, they are looking for a Service Manager to join their team based in Hereford.

This individual will be responsible for keeping note of all jobs carried out, checking all parts and equipment are in place and compliance. This can offer an excellent career opportunity for a local individual who would like to be valued in a family-feel team.

Responsibilities of Service Manager:

  • Allocating jobs and schedules to suitable engineers or drivers
  • Coordinate and schedule jobs, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
  • Liaise with suppliers, fitters and colleagues on site and in office, updating them with job progress information
  • Track progress and identify and resolve any potential issues
  • Order and track materials and supplies
  • Chasing orders and processing quotes for machine parts
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
  • Prepare, and complete work packs and documentation for assigned jobs

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, whilst working on own initiative
  • Organised and efficient with the ability to multi-task
  • Personable and committed to giving perfect customer experiences  
  • IT proficiency and including Microsoft office
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines, efficiently
