My client based in Hereford is looking to recruit a HGV C+E Class 1 Driver to join our friendly team.
The position is to cover local routes only, back to depot before finish time with no overnight stays. Vehicle fleet is well maintained. The salary is competitive and my client offers a work-related bonus on top of the hourly rate.
Experience of hook lift equipment would be advantageous, but full training will be given.
We are looking for an individual to operate hook loader HGV to service the transportation of waste between Company sites within the Herefordshire and Worcestershire area and ensure smooth operation of the waste management needs of the business & Full training will be given
The tasks will include as a HGV driver, the daily inspection, safety checks of vehicles and associated tasks such as defect reporting, wheel torque notices, topping up liquids, and any other related duties.
Successful drivers will be responsible for compliance with transport legislation including maintaining accurate driver records
Total hours for this role are 46.5 hours per week and shift pattern is Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday 7am to 5pm and Sunday 7am to 4pm
This is a temp to perm opportunity and a permanent contract will be offered after probationary period is complete.
