Carbon60 are currently looking for a Customer Operations Advisor to join a client of ours based in Hereford. Our client is based on the Heineken site. We are looking for someone to join their team on a 12 week temp to perm basis.

This position is working Monday - Friday 08:30am - 17:00pm.

Main duties & responsibilities:

  • Ensure the stock management system has run overnight, then using those details to:
    • Place Stock orders.
    • Order products and working with the team to support.
    • Deal with suppliers and customer queries.
    • Perpetual inventory management
  • Able to use own initiative to actively support the team and customer as required
  • Able to prioritise workload on-site to ensure and efficient service to the customer, balancing follow-up tasks and new orders as applicable
  • Support the team on-site in generating conversations with the customer for business development / 'future work' opportunities for the team on-site
  • Adopt a customer-centric approach to your decision-making processes
  • Some manual handling of stock will be required within health and safety standards, trollies will be provided also
  • For those with an active driving licence, a company vehicle can be provided to enable local collections of stock and for travel to any applicable training courses.

Essential skills / experience / qualifications:

  • Work inventory Management experience - able to place and expedite orders using web-based systems, communicating effectively with customer and suppliers
  • Competent level computer literacy to meet the data-based and correspondence requirements in the role.
  • Able to professionally use Outlook in correspondence with customers and suppliers
  • Intermediate ability on MS Excel is highly desirable, able to use data entry and data analytics to identify trends in data to support operations on-site, utilising formulas and VLookup's to perform data analysis. (If the applicant has not performed VLookup's or used formulas before, then they must show keen interest to learn and develop this while in the role as required.)
  • Be comfortable in a fast-paced customer facing role
  • Able to use their own initiative in prioritising workload according to customer requirements
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to meet the physical demands of the stock handling on-site, comfortable with the active requirements of the position
  • Shows a keen interest to invest in the training/development offered and keen to learn more about the operations on-site and wider business.
  • Active UK Driving licence is advantageous but not essential
  • SAP Experience advantageous but not essential
