Job scope:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Learning and Development Trainer to join a well-respected care provider, supporting the growth and development of care teams across Worcestershire and Herefordshire. This part-time role, with flexible hours from Tuesday to Thursday, offers a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about inspiring others to deliver exceptional care.

As a Learning and Development Trainer, you will deliver mandatory and best-practice training through face-to-face and virtual sessions, ensuring care teams are fully equipped to provide outstanding support. You will play a crucial role in the induction process for new team members, helping them feel confident and prepared. Additionally, the Learning and Development Trainer will collaborate with managers to promote high standards of care, support specialised skills development, and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.

Do you have?

  • Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or Nursing, with a passion for training and development.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a care trainer or similar role, or as a Senior Care professional with proven experience in delivering training (specify types of training, frequency, number of delegates, etc.).
  • Strong communication skills, adaptable to various learning styles and levels.
  • Commitment to promoting dignity and respect in elderly care.
  • Willingness to undertake a Level 3 teaching qualification if not already held.
  • Driving licence and access to a vehicle (required), with travel between Worcestershire and Herefordshire locations as needed.
