Milk Education are currently recruiting for Social and Emotional Classroom Practitioners for a range of schools across the Trafford and Manchester area.
This Social and Emotional Classroom Practitioner position is effectively managing the classroom in the absence of the classroom teacher, supporting nurture groups in a social and emotional capacity while also ensuring they reach their academic potential.
The vast majority of classes have specialist Teaching Assistants to support both the students and the Social and Emotional Classroom Practitioner.
The hours for this Social and Emotional Classroom Practitioner role are 8:30 - 3pm.
What do you need for this Social and Emotional Classroom Practitioner role:
A DBS on the update service or a willingness to apply for one through Milk Education
Be able to provide your two most recent references - either work-based or education
Be available at least two days a week
Have an engaging and proactive nature and a willingness to work in the best interest if young people
Experience working with young people is preferred but not essential
Live within commutable distance of Trafford and Manchester
