I'm working on behalf of a brilliant special school in the Hereford area that are looking or a full-time TA to join the team ideally with an immediate start.
The school look after a wide range of special needs & disabilities which include SLD, MLD, Complex Needs & ASD. The school are incredibly well respected in the area having been around for a while!
The role
The school are looking for people who are versatile, patient, proactive and confident in working with SEND. The role of TA revolves heavily around providing the class teacher with whatever support they require. The vacancy is currently within a KS1 class of Complex Needs students but this could be moved around depending on the applicant's experience.
It's important that you have some form of experience working with SEND as the school need someone who can hit the ground running. The school are open to applications from candidates who are looking for part-time - but these candidates must have brilliant experience!
