Aspire People are recruiting a Teaching Assistant in Hereford.We are currently supporting a primary school based within Hereford that requires a Teaching Assistant to join from September 24.The school are looking for a person/s to provide effective support to their pupils across the full primary curriculum on a long-term basis and for the right candidate this will likely be until July 25.There are currently multiple opportunities available on both a full and part-time basis and if required may include elements of 1-1 support depending on needs.Key Responsibilities:* Provide classroom support to teachers, including assisting with lesson preparation and delivery.* Work with individual students or small groups to provide targeted support and intervention.* Help maintain a safe and engaging learning environment.* Assist with administrative tasks, such as preparing materials and managing classroom resources.* Support students with special educational needs and adapt activities to meet their requirements.* Supervise students during break times, outings, and other activities as needed.* Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their development and well-being.* Collaborate with teaching staff and participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.Qualifications and Skills:* Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational support role is essential within the UK.* A genuine interest in working with children and helping them achieve their full potential.* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.* Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.* Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students.* Basic administrative and organizational skills.* Relevant qualifications, such as a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is essential.Aspire People Limited provides services as an Education Agency and an Education Employment Business.
