Industrial OperativeHereford (Hr4)£16.82 per hourWe are seeking a NIGHT SHIFT operative that has experience working in a heavy industrial environment, dealing with heavy materials and is familiar with quality inspection of materials. Working Hours: Sunday to Thursday 10pm - 6am Pay Rate: £16.82 per hour.Duties will include:• Receiving material coming into the plant. • To inspect materials for suitability in accordance with the pre-process checking procedure.• Check incoming advice/delivery notes.• Unload vehicles paying due care to avoid damages and store on yard in a safe and suitable manner. Attach ID labels.• Bring materials into works when required for processing and unload onto jigs in a safe manner suitable for processing, fully utilising jig capacity. Ensure ID labels are attached. • Count and stack material in a safe and tidy manner, giving due care to avoid damages. Attach ID label.• Weigh material prior to storing on yard in a safe and easily accessible manner.• Load vehicles paying due care to avoid damages. Check quantities against notes.• To employ methods with regard to his own safety and of others in the immediate vicinity.This position is temporary to perm, offering a perm contract with the employer following a successful 12 week period. Suitable candidate will be required to attend training 9am-5pm Monday to Friday for the first 2 weeks of placement, then move over to night shifts. PPE is provided on site and you will have lunch breaks paid. If you have the above listed experience and are actively seeking night shift work, please apply by sending your cv to  or call the Meridian office for a informal discussion at .
