Your new company

Hays Accountancy & Finance are partnering exclusively with a well-established international manufacturing group in Hereford, Herefordshire to recruit a dynamic & experienced Senior Finance Analyst. The position will report directly to the Head Of FP&A in a varied role involving analysis, automation of processes, cost reporting and various financial projects. Progression opportunities are on offer along with a study package, if applicable, for CIMA/ACCA/ACA. Open to finance analysts who are part-qualified/qualified looking to add value within a leading group. Your new role

Your key duties will involve producing quality reporting and analysis on financial operations metrics, analysis of cost improvement/productivity pipelines, preparation of monthly forecasts and annual budgets. Weekly/monthly reporting on inventory and profitability, balance sheet reconciliations, supporting year-end cost rolls, spending analysis, along with supporting the continuous cycle of budgeting/audits and reporting for year-end accounts. You will support continuous improvement for the FP&A team and related processes, ad-hoc projects to support business growth, along with working with the management team in driving down inventory reserves. You will investigate and problem solve, and business partner with a range of stakeholders to present solutions, risks and opportunities, along with supporting the wider Finance team when needed with month-end processes.

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for this interesting Senior Finance Analyst role, you need experience in a similar position, qualified or part-qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA with strong communication skills to business partner both internally/externally, with a range of stakeholders. You will have relevant management accounting experience in a complex business environment, the ability to coach non-finance staff in data integrity, commercial analytical ability, with strong attention to detail. You will have experience with a range of financial systems, strong MS Excel skills and be able to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines. Experience with ERP systems including SAP, Power BI, standard costing & experience within an international manufacturing group would be advantageous but not essential. What you'll get in return
