Key Responsibilities for Finance Manager:
- Oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the business, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with UK accounting standards.
- Manage the company’s budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insightful analysis to drive financial decision-making.
- Monitor cash flow, financial performance, and liquidity, recommending improvements as needed.
- Lead the preparation and submission of VAT returns and other regulatory financial requirements.
- Work closely with senior management to support business strategy and provide financial insights.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and company policies.
- Liaise with external auditors and other stakeholders to facilitate year-end audits.
The Ideal Candidate:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (or equivalent), or equally qualified by experience.
- Proven experience in a Finance Manager or Financial Controller role.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
