We are looking for a highly organised Operations Manager to oversee financial operations, compliance, risk management, insurance, and business support. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects across different office locations.Location: Hereford Employment Type: Full time, Monday-FridaySalary: £35,000 to £55,000 (depending on experience) Hours: 08:30 – 17:00Holiday: 25 days + Bank Holiday Benefits:

Key Responsibilities:Financial & Compliance Management
  • Oversee client account operations, reconciliations, and financial processes.
  • Ensure compliance with SRA, FCA, AML, and GDPR regulations.
  • Conduct financial analysis and support strategic decision-making.
  • Manage the finance team, setting targets and providing training.
Business & Operational Support
  • Oversee administration processes and improve workflow efficiency.
  • Manage the firm’s insurance policies, including renewals and claims.
  • Lead risk assessments, audits, and ensure CQS & LEXCEL accreditation compliance.
  • Support office relocations, system upgrades, and operational improvements.
Leadership & Collaboration
  • Work closely with department heads to streamline operations.
  • Provide leadership and foster a high-performing team culture.
  • Represent the firm in external meetings and liaise with key stakeholders.
Ideal Candidate
  • Experience in operations management, preferably in a legal or professional services setting.
  • Strong financial oversight, compliance, and risk management skills.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
