You'll be managing the production of soft fruit across this 35 Hectare site, both outdoors and in polytunnels. They have up to 450 workers on this site at peak, so there's not doubt you'll be busy.

In terms of the day to day, you'll be crop planning, forecasting, managing the husbandry and pest management programmes.

You'll get to pass on your growing expertise to a team of enthusiastic growers and play a part in developing their careers too.

They want to hear your opinion. They want you to instil a continuous improvement culture across the site and the team and encourage people to come up with ideas. You will implement and get to watch the site go from strength to strength.

What you'll needCommercial growing experience.

You'll be coming in at a senior level, so you need to know what you're doing.

Soft fruit experience would be great - but experience in protected cropping will prove useful in any capacity.

You'll know your stuff when it comes to IPM, crop planning and all things crops.

People management will be second nature, you'll thrive on passing your knowledge on and developing high performing teams.
