Mechanical and Electrical Estimator required with a Fitout orBuilding Services background, fora leader in the design, build andfitout sector, both in the UK and overseas.

This is a hands-on role with a responsibility for the production of fitout, electrical & mechanical quotes and tenders for design & construction projects.
The role is to receive client enquiries, organise and prepare detailed estimates, tenders and quotations to ensure that opportunities are being accurately estimated competitively, successfully and profitably.
You will support the business in client meetings and tender presentations to help secure orders.
Experience:
- Experience with estimating electrical and mechanical interior fitouts
- Experience of estimating electrical and mechanical services.
- Engineering background would be ideal although training can be provided.
- Proven track record in either interior fitout and/or electrical or mechanical services industry.
- Sound knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems including HVAC.
Generators, Switchgear would be preferable. - Analysing tender documents and identifying risks and opportunities
- Able to read and understand tender drawings and specifications.
- Ability to produce high quality quotations.
- Working closely with our design and project team to ensure a smooth handover from
estimation to delivery.
Skills and abilities: - Confident oral and written communication skills.
- IT proficient in all key Microsoft Office products such as Word, PowerPoint and Excel also
other presentation formats. - Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure competitive and accurate pricing
- High numeracy levels & commercial awareness a must alongside an eye for finer details.
- Comfortable working amongst a team yet equally as driven when working alone.
- Able to communicate politely and professionally at all levels, internally and with customers.
- Effectively manage time in order to meet deadlines.
- Good organisational skills and able to manage workload.
- Ability to negotiate and influence.

- 9-5pm, 37.5Hr week
