Job Title: Healthcare Assistant (HCA)

Role Summary:

The Healthcare Assistant (HCA) plays a vital role in our organization, providing essential support to individuals who require assistance with daily living activities and medical needs. You will work closely with healthcare professionals and service users to ensure their well-being and promote positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Personal Care:
    • Assist with personal hygiene tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
    • Provide support with medication administration
    • Ensure the comfort and well-being of service users
  • Medical Support:
    • Monitor vital signs (e.g., blood pressure, temperature)
    • Assist with medical procedures, as directed by healthcare professionals
    • Report any changes in a service user's condition
  • Documentation:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of service user care
    • Complete necessary documentation, including incident reports and care plans
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Teamwork:
    • Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, including healthcare professionals, support workers, and other staff

Qualifications and Experience:
