Job scope:

We are looking to recruit a dedicated and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our client team and deliver exceptional daytime support to residents. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will work closely with the team to provide personalized and high-quality care tailored to each resident's needs. The role operates on a rotating schedule, including alternate weekends, with three shifts one week and four shifts the next.

As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting residents to lead fulfilling lives. This includes fostering a warm, homely atmosphere, providing companionship, and assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and personal care. Additionally, you will contribute to care planning, administer medication, and promote residents’ independence and well-being. Your role as a Senior Care Assistant will be instrumental in ensuring residents feel valued, supported, and cared for in all aspects of their daily lives.

Do you have?

  • Proven experience in a care setting, including providing person-centered care and supporting residents with Dementia or End-of-Life needs.
  • Skilled in maintaining dignity, privacy, equality, and diversity while respecting residents' rights.
  • Competent in administering medication and leading a team effectively.
  • NVQ Level 3/RQF or an equivalent qualification in Health and Social Care, with a commitment to ongoing learning
