£ 70-75,000 per annum + bonus, 8% pension, Bupa, dental, and 33 days annual leave
The Company
We are supporting an established manufacturing company is recruiting for their main European production facility. As one of their most specialised sites, they are providing a comprehensive range of products.
Backed by a global conglomerate, there are ongoing opportunities for progression within the wider organisational structure. With a site totalling circa 500 people, £250 million turnover, and a wide array of approvals and accreditations, they are well established as a leader in their market.
As a result, they are looking to recruit a Quality Manager with immediate effect.
The Role
The role of Quality Manager will involve overseeing an established team of quality engineers to drive organisational change, whilst ensuring high levels of product quality. The Quality Manager will have the ability to influence internal systems as well as external perception, acting as the voice of Quality for the Quality & Technical Director and General Manager:
- Manage and coach the Quality Assurance team, leading them to educate the wider team on Quality compliance
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of Quality Management Systems and compliance standards, implementing metrics to ensure overall quality improvement
- Manage customer relationships with regard to Quality, communicating directly with customers with regard to inspections, audits, documentation and complaints
- Collaborate cross-functionally with supply chain, procurement, materials testing, engineering and wider teams to ensure quality compliance across the board
The Candidate
To be successful in your application for this Quality Manager role you will need:
- Experience managing Quality, with an understanding of accreditations and standards in a manufacturing environment
- Strong leadership experience regarding both Quality Engineers and wider manufacturing teams, ensuring visibility as the main contact point for Quality
- Demonstrated ability to drive organisational change by communicating and representing organisational expectations
