In the UK, we collaborate with the Ministry of Defence and Defence Prime partners, providing Capability Integration, Intelligent Systems, and C4ISTAR expertise. Internationally, we support ESA, EUMETSAT, and other space organisations with engineering and mission-critical services.


The Role

We are recruitingIT Support Engineersto join our team in supporting vital defence projects across the UK. These hands-on roles span SFIA Levels 1 to 4, providing the opportunity to work on Windows-based systems, legacy server environments, and cloud infrastructure transitions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide IT support for Windows-based systems, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Manage and troubleshoot legacy server environments.
  • Support transitions to cloud-based infrastructure.
  • Resolve technical incidents and service requests at Levels 14.
  • Monitor system performance and implement updates.
  • Ensure compliance with defence security protocols.
  • Collaborate with teams to integrate cloud services with existing systems.
  • Document procedures to enhance knowledge sharing.
  • Participate in a 24/7 on-call rota for operational support.

The Ideal Candidate

You are a proactive, security-cleared IT professional with experience in secure and regulated environments. About you:

  • High-level Vetting Clearance.
  • Proven IT support experience in defence or government sectors.
  • Strong expertise in Dell hardware and Windows operating systems.
  • Hands-on experience with legacy servers and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with virtualisation technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices in secure environments.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, CompTIA Security+, or Dell Technologies (desirable).
  • Experience transitioning legacy systems to cloud infrastructures (desirable).
