Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a global manufacturer in Hereford to recruit a Quality Manager. The business are a heavy manufacturer of products that are supplied predominantly to aerospace, defense & energy customers worldwide. Reporting into the General Manager the Quality Manager will be responsible for a team of 7.
Duties of the Quality Manager will include:
- Ensures that all employees perform their job in a safe manner, are properly trained and communicated with effectively
- Manage the implementation and maintenance of the QMS against industry standards (AS9100, AS13100)
- Investigate all significant opposing quality trends and implements corrective actions
- Produce action plans for key processes to provide continuing improvements
- Develop and execute specific identified improvement plans for specific products
- Work with other departments to ensure quality is achieved at every stage
- Develops Company processes and new products to meet objectives
- Maintain up to date methods of manufacturing and other operating procedures
- Maintain all company quality systems, procedures and certifications, and ensures that appropriate accreditations are obtained
- Ensure that products are tested to the correct standards
- Own the Zero Defects Program and NPDI process
We would be keen to speak with Quality Managers with the following skills:
- Experienced quality managementÂ
- Skilled in leadership and possess strong communication abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proven track record of implementing and managing Quality Management Systems (QMS) in compliance with industry standards such as AS9100, AS13100 and Nadcap
This role would suit someone with a technical background in metallurgy and a passion for driving quality and operational excellence within a manufacturing setting.
