We are looking for a Senior General Manager in Hereford to join a hugely successful £multi-million operation. Part of a small expanding group that is going places! It will suit someone ambitious, driven, looking to join an equally minded company and to take a step up.

It is a predominantly (70%) administration role with the emphasis on implementing robust control measures and organisation to maximise sales and profitability.

The senior general manager we are looking for will have a high volume fast paced branded high street restaurant/quick service background with the ability to lead large teams, manage the P & L, implement and control systems and procedures and further drive sales.

SENIOR GENERAL MANAGER - IS THIS YOU?

  • Experience as a senior/general restaurant manager/area manager in a branded high street business - high volume and fast paced
  • Passion for high quality food and drink & exceptional customer service
  • A hands-on lead from the front approach and a real eye for detail
  • A working knowledge of kitchen operations
  • A strong people manager with the ability to recruit, lead, coach, train & motivate a team to deliver results
  • A solid understanding of and ability to manage robust control measures systems, procedures and policies
  • Financially and commercially astute with the ability to manage a P & L, costs, budgets, wastage and labour
  • Sales building and IT savvy

SENIOR GENERAL MANAGER - YOU WILL:

  • Oversee the management of day to day operations (FOH & kitchen) - predominantly administration, including people, stocks & finances - the P & L
  • Recruit, train, lead, coach, motivate and develop your team
  • Maintain high standards of customer service
  • Ensure all compliance and company systems & procedures are adhered to
  • Drive sales to maximise profitability
