Quality Manager – Material Testing

The Company

We are supporting an established manufacturing company is recruiting for their main European production facility. As one of their most specialised sites, they are providing a comprehensive range of products.

Backed by a global conglomerate, there are ongoing opportunities for progression within the wider organisational structure. With a site totalling circa 500 people, £250 million turnover, and a wide array of approvals and accreditations, they are well established as a leader in their market.

As a result, they are looking to recruit a Quality Manager for Material Testing with immediate effect.

The Role

The role of Quality Manager for Material Testing will involve developing Quality procedures with a focus on continuous improvement in a state-of-the-art testing facility. The Quality Manager for Material testing will ensure the testing facility meets all quality standards, accreditations, and certifications:

  • Ensure the all testing meets both internal policies as well as customer expectations, utilising the current Quality Management System and implementing new Quality Management System software as required
  • Managing internal audits and approval of subcontractors, driving continuous improvement and acting as the main point of contact for auditors
  • Establish performance based KPIs and drive corrective actions.

The Candidate

To be successful in your application for this Quality Manager for Material Testing role you will need:

  • Experience in a Quality related function, with an understanding of accreditations and standards in a manufacturing environment
  • Data driven character with the ability to communicate cross-functionally to drive Quality improvements
