A well established engineering company in Herefordshire are looking to recruit an experienced Production Manager. The successful candidate will also play a key role within the senior leadership team.
Role requirements ;
- Possess strong leadership skills to inspire our production team to achieve operational excellence.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement mythologies such as TPM, Lean and Six Sigma and promote continuous improvement.
- Have experience in working to ISO standards and promoting cultural engagement to ensure that they are continually met.
- To have a problem-solving mindset to anticipate problems and implement preventative strategies.
- Familiarity working with ERP systems to manage a shop floor environment.
- To be an effective communicator and demonstrate a pro-active approach throughout all levels of the business.
Desired Qualifications ;
- ILM L5
- Engineering apprenticeship and/or HNC in Mechanical Engineering.
- IOSH qualification in Managing Safely.
- Formal Six Sigma qualifications (Green/Black belt).
