Role Summary

Lead production operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality. Drive operational excellence through leadership, staff development, and adherence to lean manufacturing principles.

Key Responsibilities

Health, Safety & Compliance

Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards for employees, visitors, and contractors.

Maintain site security, fire safety, and first aid provisions.

Uphold ISO13485 QMS standards, conducting audits as required.

Leadership & Team Management

Lead and develop supervisors/team leaders, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.

Motivate teams to meet production targets while maintaining quality and cost efficiency.

Oversee resource planning, including labour allocation, overtime authorisation, and recruitment.

Staff Development & Performance

Implement training programs to enhance workforce versatility and skills.

Oversee onboarding and career development initiatives.

Conduct performance reviews and coaching to drive excellence.

Production & Operational Excellence

Ensure on-time, in-full (OTIF) product delivery to meet customer expectations.

Optimise workflow, stock control, and material flow to improve lead times and efficiency.

Drive lean manufacturing, error-proofing, and process standardisation.

Oversee site infrastructure maintenance and recommend capital equipment investments.

Financial & Strategic Management

Monitor production costs, identifying efficiency opportunities.

Collaborate with finance teams to optimise resource allocation and cost control.
