Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee complex, safeguarding and legal case challenges.
- Ensure compliance with the Care Act and related legislation.
- Oversee safeguarding enquiries, adhering to Making Safeguarding Personal principles.
- Collaborate with partners to deliver high-quality services.
- Oversee social work teams and ensure operational spend is managed and performance
- Undertake any duties commensurate with role
- Have good knowledge and skills in adult social work
- Work as part of the senior leadership team
- Support the teams through change management
- Qualifications: Registered Social Worker with professional qualification.
- Experience: Strong background in adult social work, safeguarding, legal frameworks, and team leadership.
- Skills: Excellent decision-making, interpersonal, and negotiation abilities.
- This is a critical leadership role requiring immediate availability.
