Pearson Whiffin have partnered with an established manufacturer based in West Kent. They are looking for a Buyer to join their team on a full time permanent basis.
Duties include:
- Analysing buying patterns.
- Stock management.
- Meeting with suppliers; assessing their suitability, processes and quality.
- Negotiating with suppliers (national and international).
- Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.
- Reporting on vendor performance.
To be considered for this role, you must have/be:
- Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within manufacturing or engineering.
- A CIPS qualification would be a significant advantage.
- Experience using ERP systems.
- Organised.
- A meticulous attention to detail.
