We are currently recruiting for a Trainee Quantity Surveyor, Estimator, or Buyer to join a dynamic team in a leading construction company. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to start a career in the construction industry. No prior experience is required, and full training and support will be provided to help you grow in your role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist senior Quantity Surveyors, Estimators, or Buyers in the day-to-day running of construction projects.
  • Support the preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and procurement strategies.
  • Help with tracking project costs and managing financial records.
  • Assist with tendering and procurement processes, including sourcing materials and subcontractors.
  • Aid in managing supplier relationships and negotiating contracts.
  • Monitor project progress and report on budget and expenditure.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Participate in site visits and project meetings, assisting with cost reporting and evaluations.

Essential Requirements:

  • Strong interest in starting a career in Quantity Surveying, Estimating, or Purchasing.
  • Basic understanding of the construction industry (an advantage but not essential).
  • A strong willingness to learn and develop skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
  • A positive, proactive attitude and a team player.
