Description
The role of Shift Manager will involve:
- Leading and managing a large inbound warehouse team, including Supervisors and Team Leaders.
- Working a 4-on/4-off shift pattern 6am-6pm.
- Overseeing operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
- Managing agency supplier relationships for temporary labour.
- Implementing and maintaining high-performance KPI standards.
- Conducting disciplinary and investigation processes.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Coordinating with other departments for seamless operations.
- Addressing and resolving any issues or conflicts within the team.
Profile
A successful Shift Manager should have:
- A strong understanding of fast-paced distribution operations.
- Proven experience in a managerial role in the Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, inc. coaching and mentoring.
- A proven track record of managing large teams.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
