Do you have extensive assessment experience and experience of working with foster carers and Special Guardians?Do you have experience of Private Fostering? Are you good at building relationships with staff and key stakeholders? Are you passionate about children being supported to fulfil their potential, by supporting our Connected Persons Foster Carers, Special Guardians and Private Foster Carers really well?

You will assist the Kinship Team Manager to lead the team to support and develop our staff, carers, special guardians and private foster carers to help our children to be the best that they can be. This is an exciting time to be joining the team - they are an experienced staff group, working together on the development and delivery of a high quality Kinship service.They have made improvements in a short time and the Managing Practitioner role is an opportunity to be part of this continual improvement.

You will be fully qualified social worker (DipSW, CQSW, CSS or equivalent), with extensive experience in safeguarding work as well as fostering/Kinship care work. With strong skills and a proven track record in assessment, support and supervision of carers, and supervision of staff you will ultimately be dedicated to improving the lives of children and families within the area.
