Our client is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join their team. In this role you will work with adults with mental ill health diagnosis providing housing related support to promote independence with a view to move on into independent living within a period of 3-5 years.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily duties:

  • Working with a caseload of clients
  • Supporting people suffering from mental health issues
  • Carrying out support plans and risk assessments
  • Teaching life skills and preparing clients to live independently in the community
  • Supporting clients with budgeting and applying for housing benefits to reduce rent arrears
  • Promoting independence at all times
  • Adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures at all times
  • Updating notes and records ensuring they are concise and accurate

Requirements:

  • Ideally have an enhanced DBS certificate from the last 3 years or willing to apply for one
  • Would require a driving licence and use of own car.

There will be lone working, lone working device will be provided.
