We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Interim Head of Service to lead and oversee our adult social work services. This critical leadership position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact by ensuring high standards of practice, compliance with legislation, and delivery of exceptional outcomes for individuals requiring support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee complex, safeguarding and legal case challenges.
- Ensure compliance with the Care Act and related legislation.
- Oversee safeguarding enquiries, adhering to Making Safeguarding Personal principles.
- Collaborate with partners to deliver high-quality services.
- Oversee social work teams and ensure operational spend is managed and performance
About You:
- Registered Social Worker with professional qualification.
- Strong background in adult social work, safeguarding, legal frameworks, and team leadership.
- Excellent decision-making, interpersonal, and negotiation abilities.
- This is a critical leadership role requiring immediate availability.
