Skilled Groundworker in Lower Herne (CT6 Area)
Role Details:
- Location: Lower Herne (CT6 Area)
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: Ongoing
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30-17:30
- Pay Rate: 19-21 per hour (depending on experience and CSCS card)
We are seeking a reliable and experienced skilled groundwork to work for our client in the Lower Herne area. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable experienced skilled groundwork to work with a large housing ground work company in Sussex, Kent, London and Essex.
Role Overview:
As a experienced experienced skilled groundwork you will be working as part of a team to carry out the very first, and often last, work on a construction site. As experienced groundwork pipe layer with you will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of duties, including:
Key Responsibilities working and knowledge of:
- Installation of shallow and deep drainage (plastic and concrete up to 600mm)
- Setting up levels for pipe work, drainage, kerbs etc
- able to read drawing and work from them
- Setting foundation to pipe work
- able to lay slabs, kerb and edging
- Preparing the ground/foundations to allow construction to begin
- Following all health and safety procedures
Requirements:
- Must have Green CSCS card as a minimum. Ideally hold a Blue skilled NVQ CSCS card in Ground works
- Experience as a experienced skilled groundwork is essential
- PPE will be provided.
- Strong attention to safety and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
