Teaching Assistant (Fixed Term), Herne Bay
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting individuals and groups in whole-class activities, helping all children achieve learning goals.
- Leading intervention groups to pre-teach lessons, address misconceptions, and close learning gaps.
- Leading Read Write Inc. phonics sessions in Key Stage 1.
- Providing occasional whole-class cover in the teacher's absence.
- Offering effective feedback to children and teachers, maintaining appropriate marking and record-keeping.
- Collaborating with teachers to support the emotional, social, and behavioural needs of children.
- Assisting with the preparation of learning resources and the creation of classroom displays.
- Participating in relevant training to further professional development, particularly around behaviour management and emotional health.
