Do you have a passion for making a difference in the lives children and young people? Connect2SocialWork are looking for a dedicated Support Worker for a children's home in Herne Bay.
The main purpose of the job is to advise, assist and support children/young people, ensuring that their welfare is safeguarded at all times.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Secondary Education (essential)
- Awareness of young people's needs and safeguarding issues
- Good communication skills
- Current clean driving licence (desirable)
- Emotional resilience in working with challenging behaviours
- Previous experience of working within a team
RATE OF PAY:
- £13.50 per hour
- Sleep-ins paid at £50/sleep
