The team are experiencing fantastic growth and looking for a proactive and forward-thinking Finance Officer, who will support the day-to- day accounting operations of the Company to ensure the maintenance of accurate financial records. Key Responsibilities
- General, sales and purchase ledger postings, reconciliation, and control.
- Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory accounting, fixed assets, and revenue recognition.
- Assist with the reconciling the balance sheet and intercompany accounts including a review of accruals and prepayments.
- Ensure income is accurately recorded by the pre-wholesaler and allocated to the respective revenue streams.
- Preparation of payments within the corporate banking and digital payment systems.
- Preparation of monthly sales and inventory reconciliation
- Assist with the production of quarterly VAT Returns including Postponed VAT on imports.
- Provide accurate and timely information for management accounts.
- Daily bank reconciliation and processing of employee expenses.
- Assist with the preparation of external financial audit packs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new tools, technologies, or procedures to improve workflows.
Skills Required
- Part-Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA,CIMA) or AAT.
- Strong system skills, specifically Excel.
- Experience of intercompany would be advantageous.
- Able to work collaboratively and influence at all levels of the organisation.
- Ability to prioritise and co-ordinate tasks efficiently.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and forward-thinking mindset
