Tax - Corporate Senior - Hertford

Our client, a leading firm of Accountants and Business Advisers operating across the UK, Ireland, and the Nordics are looking for a Tax Corporate Senior for the Hertford office.

This is a Hybrid role and you would be working for the largest SME practice who rank as a top ten accountancy firm in the UK.

As a Corporate Senior, you will have the experience to:

  • Own and manage a client portfolio with a higher level of client responsibility, oversee your team’s portfolios, and contribute to workflow planning.
  • Deliver revenue and profitability targets.
  • Foster enduring client relationships.
  • Develop and inspire our smarter people plan

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide a range of tax services and business advice to various clients, from small, fast-growing entities to large corporate entities.
  • Manage the tax compliance process (corporate and personal) for your nominated clients, liaising with clients to resolve queries.
  • Communicate with internal departments to ensure deadlines are met and oversee client portfolios to ensure HMRC deadlines are met.
  • Contribute to tax advisory services, either leading or playing a significant role in advisory projects.
  • Assist partners in delivering advisory projects

Personal Qualifications / experience

  • CTA/ACA/ACCA/CA (or equivalent) qualified.
  • Exposure to multiple sectors is advantageous as our clients come from various industries.
  • Previous Corporate Tax or Mixed Tax experience in a similar role within a practice environment is essential.
  • Strong technical knowledge and the ability to research complex areas of tax legislation.
