Role: Finance Assistant

Location: Hertford

Hours: 8:00am- 16:00pm, Monday to Friday - 37.5 hours

Salary: £25,000-£30,000, dependent on experience

OA are currently working with a leading organisation within their field and recruiting for an experienced Finance Assistant for a client based in Hertford.

Duties of a Finance Assistant:

  • Sales Invoicing, including monthly applications and reconciliation of client PO’s
  • Recording Purchase Invoices received and distribution to heads of departments for authorisation
  • Posting of transactions from the company bank accounts
  • Weekly and Monthly supplier payment runs
  • Preparation and Participation in quarterly stock counts
  • Assisting in daily finance tasks & any ad hoc duties

What we would like from you:

  • Previous experience within Accounts / Finance position OR degree in Finance / Accountancy
  • Excellent communication skills; written and verbal
  • High attention to detail
  • Driven and self-motivated
  • AAT Level 2 or 3 
  • Excellent computer skills; including excel
