What You Will Do:
- Utilise your strong technical knowledge in design engineering and manufacturing processes to lead projects.
- Demonstrate CAD proficiency, ideally on SolidWorks, to create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings for manufacture.
- Apply your problem-solving and analytical skills to overcome design challenges.
- Work effectively to deadlines, demonstrating self-motivation and strong organisational skills.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and suppliers, presenting technical information clearly.
- Mentor and develop junior engineers within the department, showcasing your leadership skills.
What You Will Bring:
- Ideally degree educated in aerospace/mechanical/automotive engineering to a Bachelor's or Master's level, or Chartered Engineer status with the iMechE or equivalent.
- Â A minimum of 5 years experience in a relevant role within the design engineering field.
- Proficiency in CAD software, with a preference for SolidWorks.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a knack for analytical thinking.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to manage time effectively.
