Our client is seeking a Biomedical Field Service Engineer with experience in Diagnostic Imaging (DI) equipment to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of medical equipment across various healthcare facilities in the Hertfordshire area. Biomedical Field Service Engineer - Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance, Service & Repair of Diagnostic Imaging (DI) equipment.
  • Troubleshoot, analyse and repair system failures to maintain Elapsed Time to Repair (ETTR).
  • Diagnosing and repairing biomedical equipment on-site and ensuring minimal disruption to healthcare services.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on diagnostic imaging systems in accordance with defined company schedule.
  • Conducting routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
  • Collaborating with healthcare staff to ensure equipment is functioning optimally.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of all service and repair activities.

Biomedical Field Service Engineer - Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Biomedical Engineering within the UK.
  • Full, clean UK driving license.
  • Proven expertise with Diagnostic Imaging (DI) equipment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of biomedical devices, troubleshooting, and repair.
  • Ability to work independently in the field and manage time efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
