Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager required to join a market leading compressed air supplier.

Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager will be office based in Hertford daily when not travelling, responsible for developing existing key accounts as well as generating new business opportunities, selling compressed air products and solutions such as compressors, blowers, dryers, nitrogen generators, air filtration and other associated compressed air equipment acrossLondon, Hertfordshire, and surroundingareas into various industries via OEM customers and end users.

The successful Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager will have experience in selling, servicing, or managing accounts within the compressed air sector including as compressor systems, air filtration solutions, high-pressure filters, condensate management technology, desiccant dryers, blowers, downstream equipment, vacuum pumps, gas filtration, medical gas, HVAC systems, or similar products within the compressed air industry.

Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager Role
  • Responsible for developing existing key accounts as well as generating new business opportunities, selling compressed air products and solutions such as compressors, blowers, dryers, nitrogen generators, air filtration and other associated compressed air products
  • Selling technical compressed air solutions and products into various industries via OEM customers and End users
  • Maintaining new compressor sales with demonstration, exhibition, and negotiation to achieve targets.
  • Working closely with the compressed air Service Department to ensure an excellent standard of after-sales service is provided.
  • Liaise with various engineering departments.
  • Field based covering London, Hertfordshire, and surroundingareas when not Office based in Hertford.
Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager Requirements

  • Experience as a Sales Engineer, Area Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, Account Manager, Field Sales Representative, Technical Sales Engineer, External Sales or similar within the compressed air industry.
  • Compressor Service Engineers looking to come off the tools and progress into a sales roles are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience in selling, servicing, or managing accounts within the compressed air sector including as compressor systems, air filtration solutions, high-pressure filters, condensate management technology, desiccant dryers, blowers, downstream equipment, vacuum pumps, gas filtration, medical gas, HVAC systems, or similar products within the compressed air industry.
  • A technical engineering qualification, Apprentice trained, HNC, HND, BCAS DIPCAM or Degree would be desirable.
  • Office based in Hertford daily when not travelling and for the initial training period.
  • Full clean driving license.
