Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive fabric condition surveys of buildings, including external and internal elements.
- Identify and document defects, deterioration, and maintenance requirements.
- Provide clear, concise, and accurate condition reports with photographic evidence.
- Recommend priority actions and timelines for remedial works.
- Liaise with relevant stakeholders to ensure access and compliance with on-site protocols.
Requirements
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Building Surveying or a related field.
- Proven experience conducting building fabric condition surveys.
- Strong knowledge of building pathology, materials, and maintenance requirements.
- Excellent report writing and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
- Professional accreditation (e.g., RICS, CIOB) is preferred but not essential.
- Access to own transport to travel to the site.
