One of our top business partners is seeking a Paraplanner/Trainee Mortgage Adviser for their Hertfordshire office!
The position of Paraplanner serves as an entry point for aspiring Mortgage Advisers, providing you with essential skills for a successful career in Financial Services within our company. Upon completing your CeMAP qualifications, you will have the opportunity to join the team as a Trainee Mortgage Adviser over the course of 12 24 months, if you choose to pursue this career path.
Paraplanners carry out several tasks that are necessary for developing and reviewing customers' financial plans, including preparing client reports and recommendations for financial advisers, this supports the business by maintaining long term relationships with our key customers to generate further business opportunities.
You will possess excellent communication skills and maintain the core values of the organisation. You are expected to deliver your responsibilities efficiently and with integrity - showing a positive attitude.
The role involves demonstrating strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and adopting a proactive approach to further development. Paraplanners/Trainee Mortgage Advisers are also expected to show initiative, require basic IT Skills and be customer focused, managing priorities and own time along with problem-solving skills.
The remuneration for the time spent para-planning will be £28,000 to £30,000 based on previous experience and knowledge; and then for the mortgage advisor role, it will again be on an employed basis with a basic salary of £28,000 - £32,000 together with commission and bonuses relating directly to the volume of sales made.
You will need to be local to the Hertfordshire area and hold a full driver’s licence as this role is Office based with a 9am - 5:30pm Monday to Friday shift pattern.
