Job description
This is an exciting opportunity to join a new opening and become part of a skilled kitchen team. We are seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join our team. The restaurant will be a small plate dining concept, whereby we'll need a candidate who can work under pressure and be adept at preparing delicious meals in a fast-paced environment.
Opening hours are Wednesday-Sunday.
Responsibilities
- Assist in meal preparation following recipes and portion guidelines
- Cook and plate menu items according to set standards
- Ensure food safety and hygiene practices are strictly adhered to
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain a smooth workflow
- Help with cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment and utensils
Skills
- Proficiency in food preparation & knife skills/techniques
- Knowledge of culinary terminology and techniques
- 2 years experience working in a restaurant
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively

Pay: 25,000.00-28,000.00 per year
