We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Food Technology and RSE Teacher to join our vibrant and forward-thinking academy in Hertford. This is a full-time, permanent role with Food Technology as the primary subject, but the successful candidate will also be expected to teach Relationships and Sex Education.

As a Food Technology and RSE Teacher, you will be responsible for:

• Delivering engaging and high-quality lessons in Food Technology, promoting practical skills and theoretical knowledge.

• Teaching RSE to students, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to navigate relationships and life challenges responsibly.

• Helping students to understand the importance of health, well-being, and personal development.

• Encouraging creativity, independence, and critical thinking in both subjects.

• Contributing to the development of the Food Technology curriculum and supporting the growth of the department.

We are looking for a passionate and dynamic teacher with:

• A relevant qualification in Food Technology or a related field.

• Experience in teaching Food Technology and RSE at Key Stage 3 and 4.

• A commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage students and work collaboratively with colleagues.

• A proactive and adaptable attitude to teaching, with a focus on both academic achievement and personal development.
