Are you a Health and Safety Freelance professional looking to working for a fast-growing construction firm?
Irwin and Colton have been engaged by an exciting specialist construction organisation company to recruit a Health and Safety Advisor. This role will look after the operational safety for the organisation across their projects division, these sites are primarily located across London, the Home Counties and Essex
Responsibilities of the Health and Safety Advisor will include:
- Regular site visits across the regional area, conduct inspections and compile audit reports, assess any issues and create solutions
- Lead a proactive approach to promoting a culture of best practice in Health and Safety across the organisation
- Implement health and safety policies and procedures on site, ensuring compliance and keeping updated with key changes to legislation
The successful Interim Health and Safety Advisor will have:
- Proven experience in a similar health and safety position within construction and ideally within refurbishments
- Ideally some experience managing a team
- NEBOSH / NVQ level 6 qualification (or equivalent) and hold or working towards Chartered Membership of IOSH
- A pragmatic approach to safety and the ability to engage and communicate with a wide range of stakeholders
